- Women’s Services: Our team is dedicated to meeting the health and wellness needs of the women in our community. Our commitment is seen in the expansion and renovation of the Women’s Pavilion at Methodist Hospital and of the Women’s Pavilion at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital. Through our ongoing focus on health and wellness education in WomanPlus® programs and a full spectrum of gynecological-focused clinical services for women, Methodist Healthcare stands ready to meet the many medical needs of women during their various life stages.
- Heart Services: With the largest heart services program in South Texas, Methodist Healthcare facilities have an outstanding reputation as the most trusted in the region with a full compliment of services from emergency care, cardiac catheterization, open heart surgery, rehabilitation, long-term heart failure care and heart transplantation.
- Neurology: More than 2,000 neurology-related procedures are performed at Methodist Healthcare facilities each year. The Texas Neurosciences Institute at Methodist Hospital offers a team approach to the treatment of brain and spinal cord illnesses and injuries. A team of dedicated surgeons offer the most current knowledge and skills in providing quality diagnosis and treatment of virtually all facets of neurology including head and neck surgery, epilepsy surgery and hearing and ear disorders.
- Cancer Services: Methodist Healthcare provides a full scope of cancer services from diagnosis to treatment including surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatment. The Methodist Cancer Center offers a full range of radiation therapy treatment. The Gamma Knife® Center at Methodist Hospital and the CyberKnife® at the Methodist Cancer Center are among the most advanced therapies available for both cancer treatment and functional disorders.
- Methodist Children’s Hospital: As the only hospital in South Texas designed and built especially for the treatment and care of children from birth to age 16, this freestanding, all-inclusive hospital features one of the largest Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units in San Antonio. The hospital offers a 24-hour pediatric emergency room, dedicated pediatric operating suites and special outpatient clinics for children with complex illnesses.
